Who We Are
Venice Calls is a community of citizens founded in 2018 to take care of Venice.
We bring together residents, students, professionals, and volunteers from all over the world to make the city more sustainable, inclusive, and participatory.
We believe Venice should not only be protected, but lived. That’s why we turn our love for the city into everyday actions.
What We Do
We organize clean-ups in the city and the lagoon, educational workshops, cultural initiatives, and community events.
All our projects are rooted in the territory: they involve schools, associations, local institutions, and international partners to collectively address Venice’s environmental and social challenges.
Every activity is an opportunity to experience the city up close and to play an active role in shaping its future.

Venice Calls and the 2030 Agenda
Venice Calls promotes the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations’ 2030 Agenda at the local level.
Environment, rights, education, decent work, sustainable cities: each of our projects is connected to one or more of these global goals.
